I am passionate about helping others be the best version of themselves.  I formed my major in Outdoor Leadership and Communication, my professional expertise, along with my extensive travel, around that goal.

When I’m planning and guiding your trip, I am dedicated to safety, physically and emotionally. I am a Wilderness First Responder and hold multiple certifications in order to make that happen.

One of my favorite places I’ve been is the German Alps.  I also love Iceland and the Italian coast.  One of my favorite quotes is Winnie the Pooh’s “As soon as I saw you I knew an adventure was going to happen.”  I can’t wait to adventure with you.

My primary ministry has been to our family of seven, but now with the kids grown, I have more time to pursue my dream of helping women grow spiritually and personally with 23Adventures for Women, providing  an opportunity for Christian women to share adventures, but more importantly to give women hope and an opportunity for rediscovery.

I worked with at-risk youth for 18 years and have been teaching for 24 years. I love being in the outdoors and exploring our environment. You’ll often find me pointing out flowers and awing over the colors of nature. I’m kind of a geek that way.  I love partnering with others to develop trips with purpose and watching others grow through the experience.

Horsemanship

Most of my adult life has been spent ranching where I’ve developed as an equestrian.  I look forward to sharing what I’ve learned if you select a horse trekking adventure.

My favorite places to be is in an alpine meadow and high-altitude grasslands. I can spend hours studying and photographing the natural plants. I’ve been to the heights of some really beautiful places in the western US, some of which I hope to share with you.

You might also meet me on some other adventures because it’s about doing life together and supporting each other through life’s journeys.

Growing up in Alberta I am an avid outdoorsman. I am dedicated to serving God through the use of Scripture-based outdoor ministry.  When Jesus tells us to look at the birds and flowers because we are anxious, it is not to detach from reality, God is informing us that all of creation was designed to speak to us of His invisible qualities.

I spent 16 years working at a Northern Ontario wilderness camp for teens, where I was a wilderness trip guide and the executive camp director.  For the past number of years I have been working with college students and running a leadership development business on the side.  I have a Masters in Ministry and outdoor certifications.
