We are visiting wetlands, preserves, and state parks. We also have canoeing planned and weekend camping and retreat trips.

For your comfortability 🙂 we will only conduct outings with 2 hosts and 2 or more attendees. When you sign up for an outing, please be considerate of others by showing up. We understand life happens; please communicate as soon as you know you can’t make it. We will also communicate asap if we need to cancel due to weather conditions.

Salamonie Overlook Hike, Northern Indiana
When: Saturday – May 6, 202 (10:00am – 2:00+ pm)
Where: Three Falls Trail and Kokiwanee Picnic Grounds/Preserve and Salamonie State Forest, Huntington, IN
Trip Info: Join us for a hike along the cliffs of Salamonie River, picnic together, then if time we will 2 mile loop walk through this historic woodlands along the Salamonie river.
Difficulty: Moderate, minor elevation gain, slippery inclines

Beach Day, Friends and Lunch, Northern Indiana

Trip Info: Join us for a day at the beach, hike and enjoy outdoor games and good food with friends.
Difficulty: Easy – well, it’s the beach 🙂

Hike Cool Ravines, West Central Indiana RESERVATIONS CLOSED
When: Saturday – June 25, 2022 (12:00 pm – 5:00 pm)
Where: Shades State Park, Waveland, IN
Trip Info: Join us for a day hike through the Ravines of a hidden Preserve.
Difficulty: Difficult, steep cliffs, stream beds, free climbing, elevation gains

Stay overnight* and join us Sunday for a canoe trip on Sugar Creek – clear water, birds, and fish galore. You may even spot an Eagle!
*camping available at Turkey Run State Park and Shades State Park. There are hotels located in Crawfordsville. Let us know if you need help with accommodations.

Trip Info: Join us to explore the trails and creek bed of this beautiful state park. We will picnic for lunch and take some Soulo* time under the massive trees.

Eagle Marsh, Northern Indiana CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER

Where: Eagle Marsh Wetlands, S Fort Wayne, IN
Trip Info: “Eagle Marsh is a 831-acre wetland nature preserve located on the southwest border of Fort Wayne, Indiana. Fourteen+ miles of trails allow hikers to access the preserve’s varied habitats of shallow-water wetlands.”
Join us for a walk through this protected wetlands, where we hope to catch a glimpse of the mute swan and the tundra swan.

Trip Info: Join us Saturday to learn how to camp! Learn to prep and cook nutritious camping meals (no mac’n’cheese here), learn to build a fire and keep it going, learn about tents, camp pads, stoves, Leave No Trace principles, and participate in other fun camping activities!
